The teaching materials play an important part in new course reform. Experts of each course, teachers, students and writes of teaching material not only pay great attention to the native teaching material reform, but also absorb the advantages of foreign teaching material with a view to improve the quantity of our teaching material, really change it from the tool of teaching to of learning and compile it according to the inside logic system as well as physical and physiological development of the student.The reaches on that Russian teaching material, especially on primary school math teaching material are quite rare after the author makes contrast research on Chinese and Foreign teaching material and domestic editions of primary school mathematics teaching material. This research is first attempt. The evolution of primary math teaching material in our country and Russia shows the worth learning places of both sides.Considering this, this thesis adopts literature, interview and contrast analysis method from the macro view of the present conditions of the two countries mathematics education as well as the micro contrast of math teaching material. However, because of limitation of study, it mainly selects influential teaching material of the two countries– math-teaching material compiled by Peter Chaersong with the recommendation of Russian Federal Ministry of Education and Su edition primary school mathematics teaching material of our country in grade three. Thus, we can provide lessons from them.Based on domestic theories relevant to teaching material contrast, this research makes a contrast analysis on design, course capacity, prepared style, overlay of the knowledge system and material selection. In the research the author discovers that the moat characteristics of the Russian teaching material is well combining the life scenario with mathematics knowledge good to combine, making the teaching material both owning the integrity and inside logics of the knowledge system and great interest of the students. Moreover, it pays attention to the heritage of the race culture and transmission. These are all we are worthy of drawing lessons in the process of compiling the teaching material.The completion of this thesis only represents some research stage of the author. I will make further research on Russian primary school mathematics along with deeper understanding toward Russia education.
