The national primary course reform began from2001. And it was carriedout in the senior high schools in Inner Mongolia since2009. During thisprocess, chemistry teaching has made some big adjustments mainly about thetheories. This is because the theories in the old version text remains to be theones concluded in the early20thcentury, which has obviously fell behind thedevelopment of modern chemistry. In order to deal with this problem, thereform has adjusted some theories in extent and depth. However, teachersused to put great emphasis on the chemistry theories and regard them as thedifficult points. And this becomes the greatest problem in the chemistryteaching in senior high schools.In my opinion, chemistry teachers have to practice the following twoaspects: one is to do some in-depth research in the chemistry theories, andthe other is to know about the students, especially their knowledge ofchemistry theory. In this way, the students can learn more easily and theteacher can teach with more specific purposes. So I made a research on therelevance of―chemical construction‖teaching in the compulsory course, theoptional course and the chemistry competition training course, hoping it to behelpful for the chemistry teachers in senior high schools as well asuniversities to get to know the knowledge structure of their students.The researcher firstly analysed the textbook and the syllabus and got thestructure of the contents so as to know the students’ levels. Then theresearcher compared the knowledge in each period and found out theemphasis of each part to come up with the most important problems to besolved during each period. Finally, the researcher solved the problem andachieved the combination of each period.
