In the new round of senior school curriculum reform, tremendous changes have taken place in the textbook. Function as the core of high school mathematics, what is the difference between the new textbook and the past? What kind of impact to the development of students? What successes and shortcomings? Study of these issues on the reform of the mathematics curriculum and textbooks; absorb old textbook reasonable approach and perspective from the old teaching materials for the new choice has important significance.Based on the function of three editions textbook in history, from the macro level, teaching goals, the content and anther five dimensions; Micro-level knowledge start and expand ,with the specific content do profound, detailed comparative study reached the following conclusions:From the angle of comparison, the 1995 edition focuses on the integrity and knowledge of logic system, showing single, layout serious, as the main display to direct, few inquiring, more mechanical training exercises. 2005 edition to inspiring students'interested, showing varied, colorful layout, have affinity, focus on questions, attach importance to explore, exercise comprehensive degree. The 2003 edition is between them. Textbooks tend to change from "academic-oriented" to "student-centered" development direction.From the development perspective, contrast with 3 editions, the 2005 edition does better of the following:(1) Showing lively content, color variety, abundant examples, and a strong sense of stimulating their interest in learning.(2) To guide students examples from the experience of the essence of the concept. Through abundant examples greatly enhance the mathematical knowledge and contacts in real life, and enhance the awareness of application.(3) Broad issues raised, set up a large number of "thinking", and guide the students. On the thinking of the students grow, and explore the formation of the spirit, self-learning ability and the acquisition is an important facilitating role.There are also some less than satisfactory, considering the area of improvement:(1) Knowledge and Knowledge coherence between the decline; Disciplines are also incompatible.(2) Exercise difficult in a number of indicators over the past textbooks, some difficult topics too high.(3) Comparison with the previous textbooks, as many hours less. Guide students to complete more difficult target.(4) Use of information technology and the geographical conditions of schools inadequate consideration.(5) The existence of language is not strict and precise.Meanwhile, put some observations and recommendations.
