Textbooks are the media of interaction between students,cultural knowledge and teachers.Teachers should concentrate on textbooks before teaching,study the similarities and differences between different versions and find out the essence of different versions.Only in this way can they integrate the essence,adjust teaching strategies,update teaching methods and improve teaching efficiency.The function is an important content of middle school mathematics,very representative,taking the function content as the comparison object,can reflect the compilation characteristics of the two editions of textbooks,and further provide some help for the teachers and students who use the two editions of textbooks.Through sorting out the relevant literature of junior middle school mathematical function content,the function is subdivided into function concept,primary function,quadratic function and inverse proportional function.In the study of primary function,quadratic function and inverse proportional function,examples,exercises and comparative study of mathematical culture are respectively carried out.Through a comparative study of the concepts of functions,primary functions,quadratic functions and inverse proportional functions in the aspects of exercises and mathematical culture,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The comparative study on the arrangement of functional concepts draws a conclusion: when the concept of function is introduced,the people's Educational edition pays attention to the logical rigor of knowledge and fully considers the cognitive level of students.The North Normal Edition focuses on cultivating students' ability to explore and analyze problems and solve problems.The concept of function in both textbooks adopts the variable theory.(2)The conclusion is drawn from the comparative study of the first function examples and the mathematical culture: the comprehensive difficulty of the first function examples in the human education edition is higher than that in the North Normal University edition in terms of reasoning and operation factors;The comprehensive difficulty of the first function exercises in the North Normal School edition is significantly higher than that in the human Education edition in the background factors,and slightly better than the human education edition in the other four factors,among which,the knowledge comprehensive factors are basically similar;The content form of mathematical culture in the one-time function of the people's Education edition is mathematical application,while that of the Beijing Normal University edition is mathematical history,both of which appear once.The presentation is illustrated by text,and the presentation location is in the reading material.(3)A comparative study of the examples of quadratic function and mathematical culture shows that the comprehensive difficulty of the examples of quadratic function in human education edition is slightly higher than that in Beijing Normal University edition in reasoning factors;The comprehensive difficulty of the quadratic function exercises in the North Normal School edition is slightly higher than that in the human education edition.The content form of mathematical culture in the quadratic function of the human Education edition textbook is mathematical application,and the content form of mathematical culture in the quadratic function of the Beijing Normal University edition textbook is mathematical application and mathematical knowledge expansion,which appear twice.The presentation is illustrated by text and appears in the reading materials section.The conclusion drawn from the comparative study of inverse proportion function examples and mathematical culture is that the inverse proportion function examples in human education edition pay attention to the cultivation of students' mathematical cognition.The inverse proportional function of the North Normal Edition does not set examples;The comprehensive difficulty of inverse proportion function exercises in human Education edition is higher than that in Beijing Normal University edition in terms of background and mathematical cognitive factors.The content form of mathematical culture in the inverse proportion function of the Humanities edition textbook is mathematical application and appears twice,while the content form of mathematical culture in the inverse proportion function of the North Normal University edition textbook is mathematical history and appears once.The presentation is illustrated by text,and the presentation location is in the reading material.
