In civilized society, thinker and ordinary people take happy as their final aim. Man control happy himself and all the activities aim at happiness. Happiness is people's terminal goal of value. However, people never have stopped discussing about happiness. Approached from two kinds of concepts of happiness that effected people importantly in the history, the thesis analyses their nature and rationality. Then it puts up with the reasonable concept of happiness after analyzing the limitations of others, researches theoretically the realization of happiness. Marxist concept of happiness is reasonable because it includes materialism and dialectics of happiness. Combining with development and needs of human being, we can define it as happiness is the sense of pleasure that depends on satisfying moderately the needs of existence and development, furthermore seeking the satisfaction consistently. There are three hierarchies in happiness. They are material happiness, social relationship happiness and spiritual happiness. Factors related to happiness are many-faceted and comprehensive. Physical and mental well-being, morality, desire, performance, intelligence and opportunity are integrated into the system of realization of happiness. They act each other into organism of happiness. At last, as we know no matter constructing harmonious society, or advocating the developing ideas on"based on human", the government wants all Chinese people to achieve happiness as its highest ideal.
