The essence of teaching is guiding the students to study and teaching them how to study.Nowadays teaching the students how to study has been an important slogan of the world education reform and the proposition of time, one of whose premises is that the certain reconsidering ability havs been developed. .The development of the reconsidering ability is one of the goals of chemistry new curriculum. Self- reconsidering is one of the effective ways of self-understanding and self-perfection, as well as a kind of thinking activity ability which is pursued by themself. Only in the process of finding the probrems , poundering the questions,solving the problems, can the students learn how to study and reconsider, form the correct value, unceasingly consummate own knowledge system, then sharpen own each kind of ability, finally produce innovation and practical ability.Under the instruction of the reconsidering teaching theory , in view of the current insufficiency of the reconsidering teaching research in our country's chemistry teaching , the topic. "the teaching strategy research of raising the student's reconsidering ability in the chemistry teaching of middle school " is proposed.The reconsidering ability is an ability of the critical, exploring pondering process between the question and the thing, the self-awareness and the behavior understanding, the practice and the understanding , is individuality psychological characteristic where self-reconsidering can be smoothly developed, Based on reconsidering and the reconsidering teaching theory, the basic cognizance theory, the critical theory, reasoning theory , the cognition psychology theory and so on, the six integrant parts of the reconsidering ability are proposed: Reconsidering consciousness, the reconsidering habit, the reconsidering method, the self- monitoring, the self- appraise, the reconsidering result, construct four teaching strategies of training the student's econsidering ability in the chemistry teaching process :First, strengthen the student's reconsidering consciousness, form the good reconsidering habits. Second, build the thick reconsidering atmosphere, let the student be glad to reconsider. Third, guid the student to reconsider and help the student learn how to reconsider. Fourth, make the student learn to self-monitor through commenting (self-appraise) and poundering (promoting student to reconsider). And this strategy has been used in Class 0604 and Class 0618 in Guigang Jiangnan Middle School for a semester experimental research. In chemistry teaching, the teaching strategy of reconsidering ability is used to train the students of Class 0618 while in the Class 0604 conventional teaching strategy is used .After a semester's teaching experiment, Based on a certain Standard quality and quota , comparing the reconsidering abilities, chemistry academic records of these two classes' students, the analysis result indicates that the ability integrant parts of the reconsidering method, the self--monitoring and the self- appraise of Class 0618 surpass those of Class 0604, and the difference is remarkable. There are not certainly remarkable in the reconsidering consciousness, the reconsidering habits which are enhanced more quickly than the contrasted class students. Certainly there is not the remarkable difference in the whole reconsidering ability, but the reconsidering ability of the experimental Class 0618 enhance more quickly than that of the Class 0604.The whole reconsidering abilities of the experimental class have already enhanced from the "ordinary" level to the "strong" level, while those of the contrasted class still stay in the"ordinary" level. Regarding the student's chemistry academic record, the experimental class surpass the contrasted class and the difference is remarkable. Through interviewing and the immediate observation , it is known that the independent study abilities of the experimental class' students in any level have been enhanced as well as the study enthusiasm and the initiative , then we can draw a conclusion in this foundation: "The teaching strategy research of raising the student's reconsidering ability in the chemistry teaching of middle school " which we construct is effective and feasible, which can effectively raise the student's reconsidering ability in chemistry teaching.Finally, according to the experience of the experimental resarch and the reconsidering research process, the teaching advice on training corresponding student's ability and the forecast of the further reseach are proposed.
