Investigation on present conditions of continuing education to biologicalteachers in Tianjin middle schools and a further analysis were carriedout on aspects of contents, forms, necessity and effects. The resultsshowed that in about 72% of the teachers who were investigated conformedand which suggested that there was a necessity for the continuingeducation to those teachers: desires to improve their skills did notclosely relate to their ages; they were generally forced in about objectsand forms in the educational processes: busy in teaching, majority work,and less encourages from the managing departments were responsible forabsences in their continuing education: and also, an improving on effectand the determinative system was required in the education. According toall of these, Strategies and advices were raised on aspects of educationalobjects, forms, distance education, evaluation and managing systemimproving, as well as educational modes, expecting that it would behelpfulto the supplication and improvement on the theories and practicesof continuing education study.
