"Constructivism" is another new learning theory after the theory of " Behaviorism". Priories considered the process of cognition as a continuous construction. "Construction refers to the occurrence and transition of construction and structure. Only we put human's cognition into the continuous process of construction and study the occurrence and transition of cognition dynamically, can we solve the problems of cognition." The theory's key point is that knowledge is not accepted in a passive form, while it is made up by the learners themselves actively in learning. Although what the students learn was discovered summed up and sorted by the predecessors, it is still unknown and absolutely new to the learners. The theory of "Constructivism" opens up a new thought in mathematics education and has a great effect in mathematics education reform, which is from "laying emphasis on teaching" to "laying emphasis on learning" from "laying emphasis acknowledge" to "laying emphasis inability" and so on. All this show the reflection upon the traditional teaching thought and it also gives much suggestion to the mathematics education reform. This article not only sets forth the theory of Constructivism, which analyses the essence of knowledge from the high point of philosophy and emphasizes mad s principle part and activity; but also makes a further exploitation of the outlooks on mathematics, learning and teaching in Constructivism. Then, it discusses how to pint them into practice in ordinary mathematics education, That is, under the guidance of the theory of Constructivism teaching contents are designed, and ways of teaching and learning are well planned .It is hoped that on the basis of teaching practice, anew kind of classroom instruction model will be set up ,which can meet the demand of diathesis education and innovation education.
