In today's China, the sense of educating the pick of students is still leading an important part. Therefore, the entrance examination to college is the fairest and most effective way of selecting talents. If the system of the entrance examination to college can't be cancelled, the Course Standards of Senior Chinese in fact has effects on Senior Chinese teaching only in theory: But real Senior Chinese classes (not demonstration classes or competition classes etc) are still deep in the mud of the education meeting the needs of tests.Society's expectations and criticisms of Chinese education focus on education at the basic level. They think Chinese teachers are helping the education of meeting the needs of tests. But under the entrance examination, who can really carry on quality education ignoring one's own profession assessments and schools' reputation. Under the pressure of the entrance examination and course reform, senior Chinese teachers can't get out of the difficult position related to their profession.This article is aimed at reflecting on the causes of the difficult position. It also thinks about how to get out of it and have a try.There are five sections.Introduction: according to the present teaching situations, it expounds the necessity of senior Chinese teacher's difficult position. And it lists the documents studying the difficult position.Section 1: it explains the meaning of the difficult position. On one hand, under the pressure of the entrance examination and course reform, teachers are confused about their profession recognition; on the other hand, society and parents have double criterion of evaluating teachers. Therefore, they feel embarrassed and confused between the criticisms from society and supervision of schools, parents and students.Section 2: the Chinese teaching under the leading of entrance examination and the Chinese teaching under New Courses Standards lead to the big differences in teaching, teaching aims, the understanding of subject and teaching approaches. According to the differences, this article expounds the causes of the difficult position.Section 3: according to the New Courses Standards and the definition of Chinese qualitative ability, this article borrows the traditional patterns of Chinese examinations during Ming Guo Period and the models of native language tests in foreign countries, and forms a preliminary scheme of testing senior students' Chinese qualitative ability.Conclusion: it explains the writing moment and expects the future of the entrance examination's form reform.
