Emotion is a psychological experience which people have when objective things either conform to their personal needs and desires or not. It can affect the direction, adjustment and maintenance of learning activites. Emotion has an important influnce upon the study of students under certain circumstances.This essay consists of five sections. Section One first raises a question, illustrates the necessity of putting emotional teaching into effect and then summarizes the research into emotional teaching both at home and abroad and finally it shows the scope and meaning of this research. Section Two gives a clear definition to the connotation of emotion, emotional teaching and mathematics emotional teaching; what's more, it makes a thorough analysis of the connotation in emotional teaching, and then it puts forward eight special functions of emotions in teaching and brings about the four principles of carrying out emotional teaching. Section Three is a survey and a consequent analysis of ordinary senior high school students about the level in mathematics emotional development. And the result shows the level of mathematics emotional teaching is worrying. Section Four brings about the four strategies in mathematics emotional teaching; that is, stimulate "emotion" with "fun","surroundings","questions" and "emotions".Section Five talks about two operating cases in emotional teaching.
