Study On The Relationship Between P.E. Undergraduate's Personality Traits And Coping Style

Based on Investigation, Documentation, Mathematical Statistics, the thesis makes a research on the relationship between Personality Traits and Coping style of P.E. undergraduates in grade two, three and four who study at Fu Jian Teachers Normal University or Ji Mei University. The results manifest that,First, as a whole, P.E. undergraduates are extrovert, realistic, mood-stable, and the females are better than the males; they have unstable mood ,and the males are an equal show to the females on mood; the males behavior more stubborn than the female do. On grade, there is no significant difference. On major, there are significant differences between grade four and two, still between grade three and two.Second, the sequence of coping style used is solving, help-needed, escaping, fantasy, vent, self-scold. On gender, There is a significant difference on psychology and the males love solving and retreat more than the females do, meanwhile, the females like help-need more than the males do. On grade and major, there are significant differences on help-needed between grade four and two, still between physical education major and social physical major.Third, solving style respectively has a great significant positive and negative correlation on introvert-extrovert and psychology, and help-need has a great significant positive correlation on introvert-extrovert; and self-blamed has a great significant negative correlation on introvert-extrovert. With the regression analysis, both introvert-extrovert and psychology have significant regression effects on coping style, however, mood doesn't has.
