Based on the documentation of self-cognition and mental health of the pupil, the study is to explore pupil from grade 4 to 5 in Macao by Self-Cognition Measurement and Mental Health Test of pupil. By using factors analysis and correlation analysis, we can work out the correlation between self-cognition and mental health of the pupil in Macao, and the effects on self-cognition and mental health from the difference of the demographic factors.The result indicate that:(1) A positive correlation between self-cognition and the mental health of the pupil in Macao. The pupil can know oneself correctly, help to perfect one's own personality and form good individual character psychological quality, promote the psychology to grow up healthy and sound.(2) Demographic variable (gender, achievement, parent's state) is significantly different in the self-cognition and mental health. There is different development in psychological or physiological between Boy and girl, parents expect their child get a good achievements, and under the circumstances that parents or the single-parent family grow up, which will influence pupil to knowing oneself, the psychological health level will have a difference too.The result of the study would provide reference for teacher of primary school in Macao, who will understand pupils' mental health status, instruct them how to study effectively, improve interest of study and establish good interpersonal relationships. Also carry out scientific and effective psychology information and provide theoretical grounds for a few pupils who have psychological perplexity or obstacle.
