Nowadays primary school art teaching practice has showed that the amount of art classes and the teaching methods are still not enough, though there are colorful content and teaching types in the art class. It's necessary for us to find out an effective way to deal with the contradictions mentioned above so that the art class in primary school can be really effective and colorful. To counter this condition, many explorations have been done in primary school teaching practice. What's more, the conditional teaching has been applied to the primary school art teaching with the experience of the conditional teaching summarized by Li Jilin. The present study focuses on the four aspects below. Firstly, I analyze the present condition of conditional teaching. Secondly, I put forward the rules obeyed in the application of the conditional teaching. Thirdly, there are eight types of conditions set up to be discussed in detail. They are life presentation, objects demonstration, music exaggeration, performance experience, story construction, questions creation, experiment guiding and media leading. One more thing is to sum up the characteristics of each condition type according to the comparison of the traditional teaching methods and the conditional teaching with samples and then to put forward different demands which the teacher should obey in different condition type. As is mentioned before, the value and the effect of the conditional teaching will be shown according to the study above.
