With the deepening of friendship between China and Thailand,"Chinese fever" in Thailand continues to heat up.According to statistics,80% of schools in Thailand have Chinese courses,the proportion of Chinese interest classes is large.Therefore,how to effectively improve the teaching of Chinese interest classes in Thailand has become a major challenge.However,there is no research on it.This paper takes the students of Chinese interest class in Khemasiri Memorial School as the research object,based on the teaching principle of "student-centered",it aims to take the application of task-based teaching method in Thai middle school as the research perspective,through the questionnaire to understand the students' learning situation,based on the students' learning situation,the task-based teaching practice activities are designed,this paper discusses the practicability of task-based teaching method in Chinese interest class of Thai middle school,by comparing the results of practice,the author analyzes the application effect and shortcomings,and combines his own teaching experience,put forward some thoughts and suggestions.Chapter 1,an introduction,explaining purpose of the paper,introducing a task-based teaching method and related research of Thai students,and expounding the ideas and research methods of this paper.Chapter 2,the feasibility of implementing a task-based teaching method in Chinese classroom teaching of Khemasiri Memorial School.In this chapter,the researcher introduces Khemasiri Memorial School and teaching object analysis of the school,including students' Chinese basics,learning motivation,learning needs,etc.Chapter 3,teaching practice and analysis results of a task-based teaching in Khemasiri Memorial School.This chapter consists of the application of a task-based teaching method in listening and speaking teaching,reading and writing teaching,and the application of cultural courses.Also summarizing the results of task-based teaching in Chinese interest class of middle school in Thailand and opinions and suggestions of teachers and students.Chapter 4,Presenting the teaching results and reflections of task-based teaching,developing the effective significance and innovation of task-based teaching practice.Chapter 5,Conclusion of the research,this chapter summarizes the research methods and practice results of this paper.At the same time,it also points out the shortcomings of this paper.It has been proved that task-based teaching is a student-centered teaching method.It is a teaching method that emphasizes students' learning by doing which is suitable for the Chinese interest class of Thailand middle school.To conclude,compared with the traditional teaching method,the task-based teaching method can activate the classroom atmosphere,training students' cooperative learning ability,effectively improve students' autonomous learning ability,and implement better teaching content.
