In recent years,Chinese language and cultural promotion has flourished around the world.The Confucius Institute is one of the important representatives and it is developing very rapidly.Before December 31,2017,more than 500 Confucius Institutes and more than 1,100 Confucius Classrooms have been established around the world,distributed in nearly 150 countries and regions.In Hungarian primary and secondary schools usually set Chinese lessons in the form of interest classes,and gradually develop into compulsory courses for students.Even in some schools,they can participate in the Hungarian college entrance examination as a major foreign language.Students can obtain foreign language qualification certificates certified by the local education department.The success or failure of Chinese classes in primary and secondary schools is closely related to whether Chinese teaching in China can successfully developed in the local area.Recently,Chinese international promotion has gradually reflected the "younger age of Chinese learners".Overseas Chinese teaching has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad.Overseas Chinese teaching has a strong vitality and broad development prospects.With the continuous deepening of cultural exchanges and economic cooperation between China and Hungary,the Confucius Institute at the University of Szeged has become increasingly aware of the importance of learning Chinese.In Szeged,more and more primary and secondary schools have opened Chinese classes.The number of children learners participating in Chinese interest classes is also increasing.Therefore,how to combine the foreign language teaching concept of the target country with the learning characteristics of local children,find suitable teaching methods for children learners,has become the key to Chinese teaching for overseas children nowadays.However,the research focus of Chinese as a foreign language teaching has been concentrated on adult teaching,and the research results of Chinese teaching in children are few.In the Szeged region,there is also a lack of theoretical guidance in the field of children's Chinese teaching.How to find a more suitable teaching mode for children,better stimulate children's interest in learning Chinese,and improve children's learning of Chinese has become an important research content.The author is trying to think deeply and explore these issues.At present,the Thematic teaching is mainly adult foreign language teaching or second language teaching.This thesis attempts to combine this theory with the children learning Chinese,starting from the actual teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,summing up her own teaching experience and previous research results,based on the theme teaching theory,explores the Hungarian children's Chinese teaching mode.Taking this research practice as an opportunity,the research results will be used to test the feasibility and scientificity of the thematic teaching theory.The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter describes the research background,the origin of the topic,the relevant research review and the research methods used by the author.The second chapter explores relevant theoretical research on the application of topical teaching to Chinese teaching in children's interest classes,including children's teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,theoretical research on children's interest classes and thematic teaching theory.The third chapter combines the author's teaching practice and based on the thematic teaching method to teach the Chinese interest class of Szatymaz Elementary School in Szeged,Hungary.This chapter includes the pre-design of teaching.The fourth chapter takes the Szatymaz Elementary School Chinese class as an example,and describes and analyzes the teaching design case.The fifth chapter expounds the thinking of the teaching design based on the subject-based teaching method,including the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching method applied in the classroom of children's primary Chinese interest classes,and gives the author's teaching suggestions.The conclusion part summarizes the whole article,and puts forward the author's teaching prospects for the topical teaching method applied to children's Chinese teaching.
