The Confucian Moral Cultivation And Its Enlightenment To Moral Education In Secondary Schools

The traditional Confucianism, which has a long history and extensive details, is indispensable to the system of Chinese moral cultivation. This thesis does research on the characteristics and significance of Confucian moral cultivation, the Confucianism of moral cultivation and its modern enlightenment and the inheritance and innovation of Confucian moral cultivation. This thesis focuses on the study of how to combine Confucian moral cultivation with the moral education of secondary school students. Nearly most of the problems in modern moral education in secondary schools have traces in the traditional Confucianism. The inheritance and innovation of Confucian moral ethics have far reaching practical efforts on the improvement of modern education and the secondary school students' moral cultivation as well as the defense of the impact of bad environment.
