Based on the nature of the junior middle school moral education and the characteristics of junior students,this essay analyzes the moral personality of junior high school students.With the improvement of the new curriculum reform, a full range of modification has been done with junior high schoolmoral education. As a moral subject, it aims to develop the contemporary middle school students to have all-round development of high-quality, with the teaching goal of moral education and the assessment of their practical behaviors to help students establish a correct world view, life view and values. At present, our schools only pay attention to the professional knowledge, but neglect the cultivation of students’ moral personality, which together with the influence of the social bad mood lead to the appearance of students who have high scores low ability and inclined morality.Therefore, it is very important to carry out good ideological and moral education in junior middle school. Made up of moral personality and moral behavior that also constitute the social activities, ideological morality adjust the behavior rules of interactive relationship between people and it varies according to the time. Junior high school students should take the initiative to strengthen moral personality education, inherit the traditional virtues, observe social morality, and actively cultivate good social and moral personality.So the ideological and moral education should give full play to moral function of the academic education, and also have a right teaching evaluation to measure whether the teaching of moral education in junior high school stage plays a key role in the formation of moral personality.Ideological morality education mainly starts from characteristics of the junior high school students to educate students.This essay uses the method of literature, theory connected with practice, summary of experience, starting from the characteristics of junior middle school students and the characteristics of ideological and moral education, to explore the cultivation strategy on middle school students in class and accordingly sep up the goal, content and basic strategy of moral personality cultivation on contemporary middle school students.The essay is divided into three parts:The first part is about the definition and characteristics of moral personality and that of junior middle school students. Exploration on the theory and definition of moral personality and that of junior middle school students are illustrated in this part. It expounds that the moral personality of junior high school students is characterized by diverse value orientation, unstable moral conception, indifferent moral emotion and dual moral behaviors. On the basis of the basic theory of moral personality in western countries and China, it discusses the cultivation of moral personality of junior middle school students in junior middle school. Moral personality is an important factor to guide and motivate people to develop comprehensively. The modern talents are the dialectical unity of knowledge, ability and personality.In the future to become the backbone of the modern construction, junior high school students are supposed to not only have a broad knowledge and strong ability to solve practical problems, but also have a good moral personality.The second part is about the importance of moral personality cultivation in junior middle school students’ moral education.This part discusses from four aspects: firstly, good moral character is the goal of Ideological and moral education; secondly, good moral personality is the indispensable prerequisite for the development of students; thirdly, good moral personality cultivation is needed for the development of China’s education trend; fourthly, it is also the objective need for social development.The third part is about the implementary strategy of the junior middle school students’ moral personality cultivation, and it is the key part of this essay. The essay will discuss itmainly from five aspects: Firstly, adhere to the people-oriented educational concept, digging out ideological and moral personality educational materials; secondly, strengthen the classroom teaching objectives, to help students establish a right moral outlook;thirdly, create teaching methods of personality cultivation,to help form a good personality for students; fourthly, penetrate ideological and moral education into in-class education; fifthly, carry out the life education, and social practice. Ideological and moral education can play the funtion of in-class knowledge, connect the theory with practice, foster qualities of optimism, kindness, loyalty, piety, and cooperation and build good personality for junior high school students. Thus in the course of teaching, situation should be used as carrier, activities as center, and questions as mainthread. Students’ personality should be developed and perfected in practice.In short,at present junior middle school students’ moral personality cultivation is the priority in their ideological education. When educating students, schools should not only focus on the cultivation of students’ learning ability, but also pay attention to the cultivation of students’ ideological and moral education. Let the students not only learn to learn, but more importantly learn to be a man. Students are masters of learning, but also their own masters. Teacher is the learning guide for students, but also leads students’ thinking. Therefore, in the moral personality education on students, teachers should play an exemplary role, and adhere to the people-oriented teaching philosophy, focusing on students and teachers as a supplement, to form a free, democratic, equal learning atmosphere in the teaching, shaping students’ good moral personality.
