Secondary Vocational Schools Specialized Courses Integrated To Improve The Students' Vocational Ability

Software Engineering and Database Management System are the special courses of Computer Software Developing major in the Technical Secondary School of engineering. Its characteristic is cultivating students' practice ability and promoting the improvement of student's creative thought on the basis of experiments. According to the facts of the technical secondary school students, this research combined with the characteristic of computer special courses probes into how to realize the organic integration of the two courses by using project teaching means, to increase the professional skills of secondary school students.In terms of the Constructivism Learning Theory and following the teaching idea of "based on the standard of ability", the paper adopts the methods such as informal experiments, questionnaire, interview and observation to study the cut-in point, principle and time of applying the optimized courses. The research has come to a conclusion: 1. According to characteristic of teaching target and object, the way of integrating Software Engineering and Database Management System, arouse the enthusiasm for study of students and improved the professional ability of students. 2. The organic integration of special courses made the students construct their own knowledge system, which is the base of their future study. 3. Using project teaching ways can enhance the idea of the initiative study for the students.
