On Current College Female Students' Political Participation And Nurturing Political Participation Literacy

Female college students—a special social group is an active thinking, full ofpassion, cherish lofty vision and has the mission. In social women groups, female college students with higher scientific and cultural qualities, they are representatives of Chinese future women' political participation, their level of political participation directly affects the future of Chinese women's political participation level. As women' more representative,more important groups, we survey their political participation in the political status quo timely, it is better,more effective for us to train their political participation quality, and lay the foundation for their future political participation. Female college students' active and effective political participation is conducive to raising women' social and political status,promoting gender equality and promoting the development of social democracy.Female college students are a women' group which has higher cultural knowledge,science and high -quality .In this study,political awareness and political feelings are included into the concept of political participation, it will be conducive for us to grasp the female college student groups' political participation status more accurately. So in this study, we define three levels of the concept of political participation from political awareness,political feelings,political participation acts. Political participation is that ordinary citizens know and understand the collective, national and international political life, format corresponding political feelings, and on this basis they try to influence public affairs and the decision of the government decision-making through a certain way. The form of political participation including: the right political awareness and access to relevant political message, specific acts of political participation (voting and elections,participate in social and political groups,contact,procession and demonstrations,politics learning and female college student as political party members to participate in party organizations ), network political participation .In this study we impact the social,political and cultural factors as the political social and historical background of female college students politics participation, understand the status of female college students' politics participation, analysis the impaction of the elements within the group(disciplines,grades,family sources)affecting female college students politics participation, discuss on the correlation of female college students' political awareness,political feelings and political participation. Results demonstrated that social transformation causes people Values' alteration,the drawbacks of universities' ideological and political education,the constraints of participation in the system and their own characteristics,female college students own political sense is weak and so on, which account for a significant amount of the variance in female college students' weak political awareness,female political values is not clear,the extent and the level of political participation is not high; disciplines, grades, family sources all account for a significant amount of the variance in female college students ' political participation.Finally this study discusses on the development of the quality of female college students: in the knowledge, ideological and political education theory should run through the whole stage of the University to enrich the knowledge of political participation; in attitude, we should learn the service methods of foreign civic education; in teaching methods, the ideological and political theory should put in practice, and combine with female college student real living closely; training female college students politics participate' backbones to enhance female students in the "political leadership"; promoting community development, expand the channels of female college students' political participation.
