Research On The Motivation Of Quitting Internet Addiction Of Undergraduates With Internet Addiction Inclination

Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) , is a kind of addictive behavior in the popularization of Internet. Individuals with IAD are characterized as disorder in physiology, social and psychological disfunction. The undergraduates who is in the key stage of mature is the main body of network usage. They have most possibility to be addicted because of particular cirmcumstance and stresses emerged during their socialization development. It can make them get into the psyhchological disorder and remain unhealthy during the period of mature. The issues on the motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination is a new research topic in the internet addiction field. The current domestic and overseas researches of quitting internet addiction remain in the devoid of specially researching with scaresly researches on the influence factors . It is necessarily to study internet addiction thoroughly by which can help to take precautions against and cure internet addiction disorder in the objective demand and realistic need of psychological health education.Following the thought of "theory analysis - study tools - practical survey - developing character and relationship -countermeasure", the study made the questionnaires on the motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination on the basis of literature analysis and the former suveys as well as probe into the structure of the motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination, the characteristics and the relationship between the motivation of quitting internet addiction and the levers of internet addiction through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis .Based on it, the study proposed the crisis of self-identity, the motivation of achievement and self-control have direct effect to the motivation of quiting internet addiction and self-identity has indirect effect to the motivation of quiting internet addiction by observing the relationship of self-idengtity,the crisis of self-idengtity,the motivation of achievement and self-control as well as discussing the differences of influence factors groups and the model of relationship among five factors.Conclusions come as follows:1. The motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination scale is qualified by fine validity and reliability and can be as the tool of survey to measure the motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination.2. There are three types of the motivation quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination including disatisfiction of reality, visualization and the influence in reality .3. On the whole, there are significant differences in dimension, grades and major. The manifestation of dimension diversity is disatisfaction of reality > disatisfaction of visulization > disatisfaction of the influence in reality ; The manifestation of grade diversity is the sophomore > undergtaduate in the fourth > junior > freshmen in which the sophomore is remarkably higher than the freshman and junior ; Major is art&sports > Liliterature > Science in which literature is remarkably higher than Science. No matter majored in Literature or Science, the motivation of quitting internet addiction in the undergraduates of the Non-key university is higher than in that of the key university in the dimension of the influence on reality;It shows the same way in the dimension of dissatisfaction of visualization in sophomore;The manifestation of Gender diversity is that male is higher than female ,in the dimension of the influence in reality regardless of Liliterature or Science.4. There is significant positive correlation between the dimensions of motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination and the levers of internet addiction. The higher score of the internet addiction, the higher level of the motivation of quitting internet addiction of undergraduates with internet addiction inclination. According to the degree increasing of internet addiction,the manifestation of dimension of the motivation of quitting internet addiction is from disatisfaction of reality > disatisfaction of visulization > disatisfaction of the influence in realitythatlead to the balance of the three dimension.5. Structural model shows that : The crisis of self-idengtity, the motivation ofachievement and self-control have direct effect to the motivation of quiting internet addiction;the motivation of achievement and self-control have the positive effect on the motivation of quiting internet addiction; However, the crisis of self-identity have the negative effect on the motivation of quiting internet addiction while self-identity has indirect effecton the motivation of quiting internet addiction. It is also that self-identity has the positive effect on the motivation of quiting internet addiction through the motivation of achievement and self-control, the negative effect on the motivation of quiting internet addiction through the crisis of self-identity .6. To Cure internet addiction disorder of undergraduates' inclination of internet addiction, it is three Stages of mentality de-addiction,behavior de-addiction and personality rebuild. It takes three steps as appraisal-diagnosis-quiting internet addiction by individual counselling and association counselling through the motivation of quitting addicition of intermetin cognitive therapy. At the same time, universities should also strengthen the correlation measurement to prevent and cure internet addiction disorder while building the good atmosphere of correct network usage in which the key point is to focus on the characteristic of the motivation of quiting internet addiction.
