Several reasons account for the fact, such as inequality in educational opportunities, unbalanced distribution in various specialties and institutions, as well as in location.In the present circumstances, it is crucial to build a well-structured system of adult education to address the problem in the development of adult education in Southwest University. The author proposes that adult education in Southwest University should have a clear objective while restructuring the resources so as to improve educational models and further foster its features. By making full use of the educational resources, Southwest University can increase the supply of adult education to meet the social demand for first-rate adult education.
