National unity is the lifeline of all people of all ethnic groups.And it is the cornerstone of the country's development and progress,and the highest interest of the Chinese nation.It is strengthening national unity education that is vital importance for safeguarding national unity and promoting stable development of the country.In recent years,the “3.14” incident in Lhasa,Tibet,and the “7.5” incident in Urumqi,Xinjiang,and other deliberate acts or actions,that deliberately undermined unity,have prompted us to strengthen national unity education.Our country formally incorporated the curriculum of national unity education into the curriculum of primary and secondary schools,which has normalized the curriculum of national unity education setting in primary and secondary schools.There are national unity education courses in primary and secondary schools at present,but not enough professional teachers to implement national unity education.In order to improve the quality of the national unity education curriculum,it is quite crucial to improve the quality of the teachers of the national unity education curriculum.Guangxi as a textbook model,which does a good job of the national unity education work,has been continuously innovating and breaking through both in theory and practice.And it has implemented the national unity education teacher training that led by the education department and provided by universities,and which aims to improve effectively the quality of national unity education teachers in primary and secondary schools,hoping to improve the theoretical level and practical ability of teacher,who serves national unity education curriculum,as a whole.So,how aboutthe specific implementation of the teacher training for national unity education in primary and secondary schools provided by universities? And,what are the problems among this? Based on the theory of supply and demand in economics,the research attempts to explore the supply and demand of the national unity education teacher training with the methods of investigation research.It is found that there is a mismatch between supply of university and demand of trainee who serve the primary and secondary schools,such as training expectation,training arrangement,training content and training assessment,etc.The main reasons are as follows.The deficient understanding of the importance of training from the supplier and trainee is unable to fully mobilize the initiative of them;the short of preliminary pre-training research results in the lack of communication between them;the insufficient innovation in training mode fails to realize the effective connection between theory and practice;and the incomplete post-training tracking in the later stages of training fails to grasp the training effect.Therefore,we should deepen the understanding of national unity education and enhance the participation of all relevant parties involved in training;do a good job of preliminary pre-training research,clear gaps between demand and supply from trainees' and universities,and pinpoint the fundamental focus that suppliers should pay more attention;activate training mode and promote theory combine with practice;strengthen the post-training tracking,and sum up experiences and find problems in time,in order to optimize teacher training for national unity education about “University-Pattern”,and effectively improve the quality of it,so as to promote national unity education in primary and secondary schools in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and even the whole country.
