As a country in Asian cultural circle of Confucianism, Singapore's civic moraleducation in their school is very successful in promoting social stability anddevelopment, and has played an important role in cultivating high-quality citizens.Under the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng XiaopingTheory and "Three Represents", an in-depth research on civic moral education inSingapore's schools is studied and some useful enlightenment is drawn out.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: First part, the concepts of civicmoral education and related concepts are defined. Defining the concepts of citizen,morals, civic morals, and so on. The second part, social backgrounds anddevelopment process of civic moral education in Singapore's schools. The socialbackground and development process of civic moral education in Singapore schools isbriefly introduced. The third part, the goals, contents, ways and means of Singapore'scivic moral education in the schools. Goals, contents, means and methods of civicmoral education in Singapore's primary schools, secondary schools, the Universityhave been studied in detail. The fourth part, the characteristics of civic moraleducation in Singapore's schools. Including: Taking the national consciousnesseducation as the leadership; Taking note of traditional moral education, andperforming to innovate according to the social changes; Creating a good environmentfor moral education. Fifth, the experience and enlightenment of Singapore's schoolcivic moral education. Some useful experience and enlightenment is found through asystematic research on civic moral education to strengthen and improve our civicmoral education in the schools.
