An Analysis On The Function Of Higher Education Of China To Urbanization

In the advent of a knowledge-based economy, higher education is increasingly becoming a major driving force behind social progress of nations. Higher education has become increasingly prominent function in promoting the community. Urbanization is a common trend and the trend of development in today's world.,which is one of the most important yardsticks was recognized as the most significant modernization in the 20th century. Because urbanization is the driving force of economic development, economic development depends on science and technology promotion, and higher education is one of the main channels about scientific research,innovation and training technical personnel, therefore, urbanization must be supported by higher education. Currently, the process of urbanization of China, raising the level of urbanization of China is one of the important tasks of social development. Moreover, China have a large population and the lower the quality of the special circumstances, urbanization of China is not to be ignored in which higher education plays an important role. Therefore, the study on the function of higher education in the process of urbanization and seeking the development of the strategies of higher education of China which are self-evident are necessary.This article is mainly based on the literature, Investigating and analyzing of higher education played the role and the status quo of playing the role in the urbanization process. And seek higher education developing strategies about how to give full play to promote higher education of the role of the urbanization.The paper is comprised of a preface and three parts. Part 1 mainly examines the theoretical basis,the international experience and the performance of the role of higher education in the process of urbanization, which purpose is to clear that higher education in the process of urbanization has played a role.Part 2 mainly explores into the status quo of higher education of China in the process of urbanization.Part 3 is in accordance with the status quo that higher education in the process of urbanization is not fully play the role, discussing the strategies about the higher education of China giving full play to the role in the process of urbanization.
