From the characteristic of sociality and epoch, project learning becomes the main mode of learning in knowledge economy age. So it is important to research and practice it. In my teaching career, I had direct students to practice it and acquire some good result for many times,Project learning bring me novelty, achievement and delight deeply, at the same time, I feel that it is hard to be an old type teacher anymore. Teacher should consider and adjust themselves. What role a teacher should act is the point. If you get the point, enjoy the delight which project learning bring you and your students. In this letter, beginning with the concept of project learning, with deeply understanding the concept and characteristic of the project learning, combined with my practice in history project learning for many years, we research the change of role of teacher. At the same time, by analysing role of teacher in old education concept, this letter shaped a new model for teacher in new education condition. Then beginning with problems from the practice of project learning, in an unique angle of view, it orient the role which teachers should act as in such a special field. By combination of theory and practice in this letter, I believe that the role of teacher who direct a project learning team will be well apprehended by all step by step.
