Physics is an experimental natural science, built on the perception experimental phenomenon. Sense is the reflection of one or two properties of objects and the primary processing of information. Perception is the overall knowledge of objects and further processing of-information relating with experience, so perception is the basis of psychological activity, the eye of thinking, and source of knowledge. Acute perception is also the necessary basic ability of people living in modem information society. Student's perception on the physical phenomenon, physical facts and physical process is affected by objective characteristic of perception, but by enhancing fostering of perception ability on physics during daily teaching process can make students' perception activity be adapted to all kinds of action pattern in objective physical world and form the acute perception on the physical world, so to improve stiudent's ability to actively find, explore, participate and extract information, to reduce the perception mistakes in physical cases, so much the better promoting the student's initiative in physics study and the innovation in solving problems.This research is based on cognitive psychology's theory on perception characteristic and the stage theory of learning process and refers to systematical theories like Cognitive Psychology, Educational Psychology, Pedagogy Principle and Research on High School Physics Teaching Method etc. Direct towards the reality of senior high school student's learning of physical knowledge and closely refer to the perception characteristic, this paper studies the special perception ability of physics that should be had by senior high school student, brings up such a concept as physical perception ability, preliminarily studies explore the characteristics of physical perception and put forward some point of view on the strategy of improving student's special perception ability of physics.Hope the study of this subject can make some contribution to research of high school physics teaching, and also hope more high school teachers of physics to integrate the theory of psychology with the practice of physical teaching, research the psychological character of student's learning so all the better realize the people-oriented education tenet and push ahead with the execution of new teaching reform.
