Makes the students in the depth perception ability, the most obvious is the difference between college students and college students in physical education. The depth perception ability can also be used as the evaluation index, which can provide reference for the selection of talents. This article mainly uses the literature material law, the experimental method, the mathematical statistics method. Through the test and analysis of the depth perception ability of basketball special students in Jilin Institute of Physical Education, the research of SPSS software analysis was started, and the effect of depth perception training on the accuracy of basketball special students’ technical movement was analyzed. It verifies that the depth perception training is of great importance to the college students. This paper also reports the relationship between the depth perception ability and age, age, gender, professional and other factors of basketball special students.Research conclusions:1, the different basketball movement level college students there is a significant difference between its depth perception ability. Therefore, this ability can be described as a high level basketball college students psychological quality in terms of a reference standard.2, at this age, at the age of 18, 24 age does not affect the depth perception ability.3, depth perception ability is affected by training, but in the short-term training effect on the depth perception ability is not very significant, therefore, in the selection of high level basketball student, ability to cope with the innate more excellent students should give priority to.4, in order to be able to quickly and efficiently improve the basketball movement level of college students, coaches and teachers should consciously exercise in daily training and cultivate the students ability of depth perception.5, high sports college basketball special college students there are significant different in this capacity. It shows that through long-term, systematic and scientific training can improve students’ ability of depth perception, and it also can improve the sports level of college students and psychological quality, etc, to provide better help.
