Headmaster is a school's soul,With the deepens inceasing in the education reform today,Headmaster's function appears day by day.Training for headmasters take an impor- tant segment in management system reform,it is the essential condition to promote head- m asters'career development. This paper in view of present situation and questions on he- admasters,divided four parts to discuss a fundamental question on how to improve the effective of the training for headmasters.The first part,Perspective the development on training for headmasters in domestic and foreign.At first,analyzes the historical evolution and the present situation in our country's training for headmasters.Then separate from the training legislation,the training goal,the training curriculum,the training organization four aspects to introduced the mainly development situation in America,England,Canada three countries's training for headmasters.The secend part,Influence aspect on our country's effective of the training for headmasters. Analyze the uneffective reasons from the objective and subjective factors.The objective factors mainly from the government,the educational administration department,and the training organization three aspects to conduct the analysis. The subjective factors from the headmasters.The third part,Foundation and principle on our country's training for headmasters. Proposed the theory guiding to our country'training for headmasters on theoryfoundation,policy foundation and basic principle.and hope to construct the instruction for following.The fourth part,On the basic of analysis reasons and theory,proposed instructions to enhances our country'training for headmaters level,Including speeds up the process on our country's training for headmasters'legal system, guarantees the training health devel- opment;Follow the growth rules on headmasters and then differentiate training goal;Adapt to the reform development's need, design training curriculum content;Design training pl- an scientifically,nimbly chooses the training way;Enhance the training effect appraisal,causes training for headmasters to the positive cycle;Strengthened training process manag- ement and training for teachers'construction.
