Researching On Charismatic Headmasters And Their Development

Under the historical background of promoting in-depth educational reform, headmasters are facing with unprecedented challenges and difficulties. Headmasters not only act as the traditional roles of executing and fulfilling a task, but also pay more attention to their charm. Therefore, the proposition of charismatic headmasters plays the important realistic significance and theoretical value is the valuable times topic deserved an-depth study in current days.Based on settling and analyzing related literature and leadership theories of charismatic leaders and headmasters comprehensively, the paper adopts literature study, questionnaires, individual case study, and interviewing method to analyze charismatic headmasters and their development. First of all, the paper applies questionnaires to do a survey on charismatic headmasters in the eyes of teachers and summarizes four kinds of charm characteristics of charismatic headmasters through exploratory factor analysis, including personality charm, ability charm, leadership charm and relationship charm. Then, through the interview on headmasters and teachers, the paper settles deficient status of characteristics for current common headmaster charm, explores reasons for generating four charismatic characteristics by analyzing development of two charismatic headmasters, and finally summarizes key factors of impacting development of charismatic headmasters, including external factors and internal factors. Based on it, the paper proposes recommendations on promoting common headmasters to change into charismatic headmasters.The paper only uses questionnaires, interviews and individuai cases to study charismatic headmasters. Though it opens a new study field, many problems should have further in-depth study.
