The most important in teaching is the teacher. The bilingual teacher is the man who carries out and completes the bilingual teaching. The level of them is to have a key effect on the achieving of the goal of bilingual teaching. However, Nowadays bilingual teaching in our country is in the primary stage and it's relative systems are not complete, as a result, the number of the teachers who are fit for the bilingual teaching is far less than needed. With the further development of bilingual teaching in our country, the lack of bilingual teachers has become the most serious problem.In view of the lack of bilingual teachers at present, the school and the area developing the bilingual teaching have taken some steps to strengthen the training of the bilingual teachers. Because the results of the training have a great effect on the quality and capacity of the bilingual teachers as well as the quality of the bilingual teaching, doing research about the effectiveness of the present mode of training will be of great value to the experiment of bilingual teaching in theory and practice..The essay begins with the advantages and disadvantages of the mode of bilingual teachers'training in order to explore the effective methods of training bilingual teachers in the primary and secondary school. That is, the situation of pre-profession's cultivation and post-profession's training. In hopes of making the mode of bilingual teachers'training better and carrying out the development of personality as well as the profession of bilingual teachers.The essay is divided into four parts: they are as follows:The first part is mainly explaining the background, meaning and it's relative concepts of the research.The second part is mainly introducing the present research's condition of bilingual teachers'training in the native country and foreign country.The third part is analyzing several modes of bilingual teachers'training in our country.The fourth part is mainly putting forward an effective mode of bilingual teachers'training, based on our country's condition. We should combine the training of pre-profession with the one of post-profession. Besides, we should build some other effective modes of training so as to advance the professional development of bilingual teachers.
