Countermeasure Studies On The Development Of China's Humanities And Social Sciences

In modern scientific system,"humanities and social sciences", compared with natural sciences, is a general term for the humanities and social sciences which have been integrated after a thorough split-up. Humanities and social sciences and natural sciences constitute human scientific system, with its study focusing on human spiritual world and social phenomena.The article will discuss the social role of humanities and social sciences from the perspectives of cultural role, educational role, political role, social management role, decision-making (consultation) role and initiative role. It will further illustrate the necessity of developing humanities and social sciences in five aspects, namely, productivity development, social progress, human peace, political stability and the all-round development of human beings.At present, the development of humanities and social sciences in China is lagging behind compared not only with the countries whose science and technology, especially, humanities social sciences, are extremely advanced, but also with the develop of China's natural sciences and the need to develop of social and times.The causes leading to the backward development of present social sciences in China are exactly the problems in its development. The main problems from external and internal environments are: 1. partial cognition; 2. political interference; 3. imperfect education system; 4. defects in management; 5. problems in study, etc.As is indicated in the article, to further develop China's humanities and social sciences, firstly, know prosperous development humanities and social sciences necessity sufficiently. Secondly,we must adhere to the guidelines of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and "the Three Represents" ideology. Thirdly,it's necessary to formulate new conception of scientific management and turn a new leaf in the field concerned. Fourthly,macroscopic guides should be reinforced so as to create a good external environment. Fifthly,the construction of humanities and social sciences itself should be strengthened.
