College Students Life Safety Education

In recent years, campus bleeding affairs, such as students'committing suicide or hurting others, keep happening in domesticcolleges and universities. On the other hand, not enough attention hasbeen given to the negative tendency of the administrative staffs ignoranceon student' personal safety. It is one of the most urgent missions for usto carry on a life safety education to our students. Started with aquestionnaire, this text illustrates the present condition of students' lifesafety and life safety education in colleges. There are problems onstudents life safety, namely, the ignorance of life, the lacking ofsensibility and meaning of life. There are also problems on presenteducation of life safety—the vague educational target, the fault of collegemanagement and the inefficiency of education content. From four aspects:college education, society influence, family education and personalexperience, the author analyses the cause to these issues and puts forthmeasures on improving college life safety education from the target,content and methods.
