The Study About Carrying Out Environmental Education In The Teaching Of Geography In Senior High School

In the modern world, as the living standard of people hasbeen improving constantantly, the demand for good environmentis increasing as well. However, the environment problemshaven't been decreasing, on the contrary, they come to thetendency towards having more and more typies and becoming moreand more complicated with the increasing of population and thedevelopment of economic. It is an important task for theteachers of geography in senior high school to try to reinforcethe conscious of environment and make the students set thenotion of protecting the environment through the teaching ofgeography in senior high schoolTo start with, this essay analies the notion ofenvironmental education, comparing the present situation of theteaching of geography in the world, it shows the view that weshould reinforce the environmental education in China. While they are observing, making judgements,studying and thinking, they can get improved in the abilitiesof thinking and cooperation. In this way, we not only carry outthe environmental education, but also help the students knowwell about their responsibility of their own and set the thoughtof working for the human-earth harmonious.
