Crisis And Its Countermeasures: Research On The Construction Of Postgraduates' Academic Integrity

Postgraduates' academic integrity is the requirements of inheriting excellent traditional culture, cultivating talents with creative spirit and constructing harmonious society. However, it is in a state of crisis with the changing environment.By adopting many methods, such as literature study, comparative study, investigation, interview and mathematical statistics, the researcher states the definition and performance of the crisis of postgraduates' academic integrity, analyzes the correlation between the crisis and seven influential factors, explains the manifestations of the seven factors and their influence to the crisis, and puts forward some countermeasures to remove the crisis.This paper defines the crisis of graduates' academic integrity as the state that academic dishonesty is so wide and its negative influence is so strong that it has dramatically affected the quality of graduate education. Through Grey Incidence Analysis, the researcher concludes that both the imperfection of incentive system and penalty system and teachers' academic dishonesty and unharmonious Student-Teacher relationships have the strongest influence to the crisis, and low level of ideology and moral qualities, canonical publishing market, poor academic qualities are stronger influential factors, excessive quantitative evaluation system and shortage of relative courses affects it comparatively smaller, but the last two factors still have stronger influence. To change the state of crisis, the cultivating units should constitute perfect incentive system and penalty system, establish the scientific evaluation system, set up effective curricular about academic integrity, and teachers must be honest on academic performance and make their efforts to build up pleasant Student-Teacher relationships with their students, and make graduates take initiative to cultivate noble moral mood and improve their academic qualities. In addition, it's helpful to regulate publishing market.The quantitative analysis method broadens researchers' view on how to analyze and solve the crisis of postgraduates' academic integrity; the result of analysis enriches the achievements of academic integrity study and supplies good experience to construct postgraduates' academic integrity.
