Studies On The Status Of Postgraduate Academic Integrity

Confucius said:"If a man does not keep his word, what is he good for?".Honesty is the essence of traditional Chinese culture, it is the root of life, and it is the founding of the foundation. The honesty in academic field is an important part of the academic personality. The honesty is a touchstone of scholars'professional integrity; it is a lifeline in research work.In this paper, the author analyzed the current status of graduate academic integrity. The questionnaire and literature survey was used as the research methods in this paper. The results show that there are some problems in academic honesty. Cheating in academic, plagiarism is common in academic writing. Experimental data or results of survey are changed. A draft cast more and papers to sign and interactions between academic dishonesty phenomenon around the disregard, etc. The dishonesty of academic is not good for the postgraduates to improve the academic. It is not good for the development of academic. It is not good for forming the thinking ways of high quality, and it might lead to the social integrity and moral crisis. It is not good to build an innovative country and the sense of innovation will be disappeared.There are some reasons for above problems. The first reason is social environment. The government credibility is weak, and profit-driven in a serious problem in market economy. Lacking the traditional sense of innovation leads to the lack of environmental influence of academic integrity. Secondly, there is no system for academic integrity education. There are no guides for the educators. Thirdly, the academic system is unscientific including unreasonable evaluation system for academic performance, academic supervision mechanism is not perfect and the imperfect academic reward system. Fourthly, it shows that the master graduate students themselves value orientation deviation. v.Jue orientation imbalances, and academic consciousness. In this paper, the author put forward some solutions according to the problems. Firstly, creating a good academic environment, establishing the system of laws and step up publicity. Secondly, making the system of school education complete, increasing academic integrity and making the academic standards of education. Teacher's guidance is important. Postgraduates should be self-discipline. Thirdly, build a high quality academic system and a sound academic evaluation system. Make the supervision system of academic more strengthen. Raise the awareness of culture.
