On the basic of concluding the relevant researches of home and abroad, this research worked out the relationship between the college student's internet usage and self identity and microsystem by using quality and quantity methods.The research contains three parts.The first part is questionnaire scaling. Two questionnaires have been scaled. One is"The Scale of College Student's Internet Usage". After analysis, the usage contains four factors. They are study, trade, intercourse and entertainment. The other questionnaire is"Life Adaptation Scale in School of college student". After analysis, the life adaptation in school contains four factors. They are the adaptation of school work, the adaptation of the relationship between the college students and their teachers, the adaptation of the relationship between the college students and their classmates, the adaptation of collectivity. Both of the two questionnaires have good reliability and validity.The second part is the research on the relationship between the internet usage and self identity and microsystem. It has been found that the student whose dominate internet usage is study or trade achieves the high level of self identity.Study usage and trade usage have the positive correlation of parenthood, friend relationship and adaptation in school. The student whose dominate internet usage is intercourse or entertainment achieves the low level of self identity. Intercourse usage and entertainment usage have the negative correlation of adaptation in school.The third part is the model making. It has been suggested that the usage which is not easy to lead the internet addiction disorder (made up by study usage and trade usage) has the partial mediate effect on the relationship between parenthood, friend relationship , school adaptation and self identity. The usage which is easy to lead the internet addiction disorder (made up by intercourse and entertainment) has the partial mediate effect on the relationship between school adaptation and self identity.
