Research On The Lack Of Honesty Of The University Student And Countermeasure At Thepresent Age In China

China has entered a development stage of globalization in the 21st Century. With the promotion of industrialization and modernization, social labour is highly divided. Various cooperation have already become the most important and frequent activities of the social economy. For the object of cooperation from different countries, nations and religions, honesty is an important guarantee of the implementation of the rules and conventions for international cooperation. Honesty is the moral foundation of constructing a harmonious society, which calls for the citizens to act in compliance with moral regulations. Therefore, honesty has exceeded the category of individual morality and become a citizen's character and morals commonly recognized by the society.As the frontline of citizens' morality construction, Institutions of higher education must take honesty as the gravity of students' moral education, posing positive effect on their building of view of honesty. This article illustrates the meaning of honesty from various aspects, including moralities, legal systems, cultures and religions of the east and the west, in order to make it clearer and more systematical. This article analyzes the results of dishonesty, in order to draw public attention to the lack of honesty. By means of studying the college students' lack of honesty in an all-round way, this article attempts to analyze the reasons of college students' lack of honesty from the aspects of social environment, home and school education and individual morality, the negative effects caused by the lack of honesty, and proposes some measures and methods solving the problem.
