Chemistry is science based on experiment and experiment is the soul of chemistry, the windows of seeing the world and the important means of reading chemistry. The forming and development of chemistry stems from and depends on experiment. In this way, chemistry experiment in middle school is very important.In this text, according to investigation of high school experiments of Tongren district in Guizhou province we can see teaching experiments in the chemistry course in senior middle school are not optimistic, there are existing quite a few questions. For example, only one third teachers and students said their demonstration experiments were completely open , half of them said their demonstration experiments were opened three forth and some of them said their demonstration experiments were opened only one forth. The reasons may be the dangerous experiment, lack of instrument and reagents or no time doing experiment. In this way, majority of teachers substitute blackboard for doing experiment. What's more, chemical experiment's resource is lack in different classification school, a few student experiment is opened and the number of student in the group is too much, and so on.On the foundation of the research, we analyse problems and the probable reasons of the experiment teaching in the chemistry course in senior middle school. We also propose good countermeasures and hope to offer reference to chemical experiment teaching.
