The Integration Of High Education In European Community/European Union

On terms that Europe's political and economic integration deepens development, education integration, especially the high education integration has been raised in the agenda. Currently, the research into European high education integration has been becoming the hot spots of academic study of Europe and attracting increasing attention of China's high education sector. However, as the EC/ EU integration of high education is not a long time and in evolving changes, the research in this field is still not systematic.The research into European high education integration can help us gain a deeper understanding of its deep causes, initiatives and achievements. This is benefit to the increasingly close cooperation of the both sides. Given the integration of European high education has been mainly promoted by the EC/ EU, this paper attempts to analyse the deep causes of the integration of the EC/ EU high education. Then, the article describes the measures taken, including establishing and carrying out common education policies, launching a series of major action plans and the results achieved. Through this to analyse the far-reaching influences of the integration of the EC/ EU high education: promoting the integration of European politics,economy and culture, accelerating the internationalization of high education. Finally, I wish expect that the experience of the EC / EU cooperation in higher education provides reference for China's education reforms given that China has entered WTO.
