Research On The Apparatus Technique Level Of Chinese Rhythmic Gymnastics Gymnasts And The Influence Factors

The research's aim is to promote our nation's rhythmic gymnastics level. It takes individual gymnasts as study object and chooses technique of apparatus as a breach. The thesis analyzed the current situation of our nation's apparatus technique level of Chinese rhythmic gymnastics gymnasts and carried out a further study on the influence factors of this situation.The thesis based on the code of points for international rhythmic gymnastics (FIG2003 version), and analyzed the gymnasts'five elements with apparatus who ranked at the top of six gymnasts in the rhythmic gymnastics competitions of our nation's ninth sports meeting, world championship of rhythmic gymnastics in 2001&2003, and our nation's championship of rhythmic gymnastics in 2003. From the analysis, the author found out the main gaps between our gymnasts and world great gymnasts and put forward the solutions to the problems we faced. Therefore the research provided theories for practical problems, such as the training of technique with apparatus and the arrangement of technique with apparatus for rhythmic gymnastics gymnasts.According to the research, the diversity in using the apparatus; accurate standard technique of apparatus; the combination of physical difficulty and technique innovation; tight, fluent and skillful link movement in apparatus become the trend of rhythmic gymnastics. However, our gymnasts are insufficient in using technical groups of five elements with apparatus, giving prominence to the specialties of different apparatus in the whole set movements. Especially the quantities of using the six different technical groups, i.e. jumps or leaps into the rope, throws and catches in ball and ribbon, hoop, are far less than the world top gymnasts. Furthermore, we lack standard fundamental techniques of apparatus that deduct the points, the diversity in the use of apparatus, the ability and quantity of our body in using the apparatus, and the combination of physical movement and innovation of apparatus movement.There are many factors which have influence on the technique level of our gymnasts with apparatus, and the key factors are the followings: unilateral guidance on emphasizing physical technique and lightening apparatus technique; lacking scientific, systematic training scheme of apparatus technique; being short of strict, standard, fundamental technique training of apparatus. Consequently, based on the spirit of the code of points for international rhythmic gymnastics ( FIG2003 version) and the trend of apparatus technique, setting right guidance of apparatus technique training and establishing scientific, systematic training scheme, promoting fundamental training methods of apparatus technique, attaching importance to intercommunication of apparatus technique information, stimulating athletes'inner power, cultivating athletes'innovation etc are the effective approaches to enhance the apparatus technique level of our gymnasts.
