Middle school students` leisure sports activities are completely from their own interests, which is the main influence factor of the young generation and the whole people to enhance their quality. Therefore, the research on middle school students` leisure sports activities is practically and strategically meaningful.In the paper, by applying documentation method and questionnaire method, the research makes a psychological,behavioral and sociological research on the present condition and influence factors of the middle school students` leisure sports activities of Shandong Province to realize the quality education of the middle school students and provide experience and theory foundation for the all-round and free development of the young generation .The results of the research are as following: 1. The time range of their leisure sports activities is irregular .The main character is that their sports activities are irregular. The place is mainly on the playground of the schools. The social resource is not fully utilized. The frequency of their leisure sports activities is 2—3 times per week and 20—30 minutes per time. 2. Leisure sports activities of the boys are balls and the girls` are jogging and playing badminton. There is obvious difference between boys` and girls` activities. The main way of the middle school students` leisure sports activities is playing alone or playing together with their classmate friends or family members. 3. Students are interested in leisure sports activities generally, but there is clear difference between boys and girls. The attitudes of the students to leisure sports activities are complicated. On the one hand, students know the function value of physical education wholly and correctly, and begin to know about its psychological, social and cultural values; on the other hand, the behavioral tendency in their leisure sports activities is not to physical activities. The main motives of their leisure sports activities are"training the body","adjusting the mood, relaxing the study pressure"and they tend to the purpose of"recreation". 4. There are two factors that restrict their leisure sports activities. Firstly, the students are in lack of playgrounds and the utilization rate is low. Secondly, the heavy burden of the study and lacking of time are the main reasons. 5. Curricular physical education has influence to their leisure sports activities. 6. Personality training of the sports culture should be paid attention to, and their cognition of the physical education work should be developed.According to the research, I think it would be necessary to offer some advice: 1. School leaders ideas and their cognition of physical education work should be improved to set up all—round development idea and talent idea to cater for the need of the society in the future. 2. The study of the students should be made sure to finish, and their study burden should be lightened to let them develop freely and in a all—round way. 3. The sports facilities of the schools and communities should be improved, and the facilities of the society should be fully utilized. The need for leisure sports activities of the students should be met at the present condition. 4. Students` sports ideas should be strengthened. Active and healthy way of life and scientific way of study should be initiated. 5. The reform of physical education should be strengthened and new ideas should found.
