The development of the modern society makes more and more people realize that with the economic globalization, the competition between countries becomes the competition between the educated, which is determined by the high-quality education that depends on the professional development of the teachers.The professional development of the teachers is influenced by the development of the school and the professional development of the principal. Any disagreement to the professional development will break the harmony. Teachers have different personalities, professional backgrounds and potentials. To respect the teachers'rights of speeches, studies and requirements during their professional developments, thus forming a profession belief and a harmonious school culture is highly required to a professional development based on scholastic research. To learn about the laws lying in the professional development of the teachers is to learn the professional spirit, to discover practical means of the development.Facing the domestic and foreign situations on teachers'professional development and learning the present situation of our school and how our teachers develop, based on the theory of requirements and self-realization, I help the teachers to analyze themselves, build their ambition and motivation so as to realize their value and discover the path of their own professional development, so as to find a balance between the development of the school and the individual.To encourage the scholastic research, as a means of professional development is to satisfy teachers'psychological and self-realization needs, to help teachers plan and to form a bilateral study ground. The principal's awareness and actions on the teachers'professional development, teachers'agreement to school culture, actions on personal developing plan and researches, along with the practice, discussion and communication during the developments are all essential. Through document researches, example analysis, interviews, surveys, practice and reflection, an acknowledgement on the means to encourage the professional development of the teachers is formed. That is an innovation-forming scholastic training system, a profession-leading pedagogic system, a culture-advancing research system and a scholastic development system encouraged to a harmony.
