Experience is the foundation stone of Dewey's educational theory and the central concept of moral educational theory. If we can't understand his thought about experience, it will be difficult to master his whole educational thought. In Dewey's eyes, democratic society is the ideal one. Therefore, developing democratic morality should become the purpose of school moral education. Exploring experience should be appropriate approach. This article unscrambles Dewey's thought on moral education and discusses the relationship between experience and moral development by analyzing the theory of experience. Making above analysis is to give some enlightenment on present moral education in China, influenced by multi-values.
