Combining with teaching experiences in English teaching of high school, the thesis takes relevant affect research as theoretical frame, discusses the necessity and significance of affective attitude and how to cultivate students' positive affective attitude in English teaching of high school. The present paper aims at surveying one common middle school in western district of Guizhou province-Dafang No. 1 Middle School. So this research has some guided meanings to the English teaching of high schools in same level. This thesis is trying to offer high school English teachers some materials of practical value in implementing the objective of affective attitude prescribed in the Standard.
