Case Study On Emerging Female Islam Education

The female Islam education emerged in northwest areas around 1990s. The emerging and development of female Islam education not only complies the request of Hui in contemporary society, but also manifests the significant role played by female of Hui on inheriting Hui's culture. This paper selects the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou as a viewpoint. On one hand, it describes the whole school; on the other hand, it discusses the faction of the femaleIslam education, the difficulties and the outlet facing by the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou. The paper is composed by five parts: introduction; the emerging and development of female Islam education in northwest area; the function undertaken by the female Islam education; the analysis of present development condition of the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou; the difficulties and outlet of the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou.The first part has mainly included the research reasons, research significance, research background and the research methods. The paper introduces my interest and experience on female Islam education firstly. Based on my status of female ad Hui, the investigation is based on the field work, entering the scene, observing, interviewing, introducing my writing background and writing method.The second part embarks from historical and present situation angles to elaborate the start time, background information and present development of female Islam education.The third part is about the discussion on the function undertaken by the school. The female students are the direct receiver. However, they can influence more people through their communication with their husband, their children, their relatives and their neighbors. Because of the improvement of female's religious knowledge, cultural knowledge and moral knowledge, the family and the whole society can develop harmoniously. This is also helpful to the construction of the harmonious society.The fourth part describes the whole girl's school firstly, and then shows the analysis of present development condition of the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou. This part also discusses the reasons why the students learn in the girl's school and they leave there, and their future plans.The fifth part is about my thoughts on the difficulties and outlet faced by the Xiguan China-Arabic Girl's School in Lanzhou.
