During the process of development and changes, the Muslim community, which has a representative of Hui Nationality, and it has the cultural traditions of Islamic features. The cultural traditions with Islamic features have experienced conflicts, communications and integration during the process of adapting to natural conditions and society environments, and finally formed the national culture that has both Chinese features and local features. However, there are many minorities mixed in the southwest area, and the Musilim community there has its own unique feature in the aspect of localization. Based on the above background, we selected Nagu Town.Tonghai County, Yunnan Province as the target area to study for the localization phenomenon of Islamic.The first part of this essay describes the basic conditions of the investigated area, including its natural environment, population, economy, Hui history and the relations with other minorities. The localization phenomenon of Nagu Islamic mainly reflects in the following aspects:festivals, funerals, language, places of worship, religious sect,etc. According to customs and religious beliefs principles, the second part of this essay describes and analyzes the above aspects in details. Based on the above essay, the third part analyzes and summarizes the motives and features of Nagu Islamic localization, and also sums up the features of flexible changes and firmness of faith during its localization. The end of this essay summarizes and sums up the role of Nagu Islamic to local Hui Muslim beliefs, the role of increasing national cohesion and the impact to local social culture.
