| Language has been given great concern since the beginning of the 20th century. The explanation of text has become a hot point in language study. The social significance and the change of power behind discourse could be found through the study of the beginning and development of discourse. The content and form of pedagogy discourse, which are the essentials of educational language, influence the development of education profoundly. Therefore, it is necessary to study the true meaning implied in pedagogy discourse. Education begins from discourse and ends in discourse. No discourse, no education.This thesis firstly is about the study on pedagogy discourse concepts. It probes into the relationships among discourse,language,theory and power, and finds out the contents,classifications,features and functions of pedagogy discourse. Secondly, it describes three periods of the development of pedagogy discourse in China. Thirdly, it animadverts modern discourse on three aspects, which are the supremacy of authority discourse, the lose of public discourse and the lack of academic discourse, and briefly explores their reasons. And lastly, it seeks to give possible methods based on the three aspects above to build ideal pedagogy discourse. |
