With the development of network technique, a revolution has happened to the ways of reading. The super reading in the network environment has put forward a challenge to the traditional reading teaching, which urges us to re-examine the reading teaching with totally new thinking. This thesis is to expand the space of the Chinese reading teaching and to integrate the network technique and the reading teaching so that the students can improve their reading ability, exploring ability, and their ability in cooperating, in collecting and processing information.This thesis is divided into five parts. In the first part, I defined the concepts of the network environment, the network reading, the network reading teaching first. Based on this, by comparing the traditional reading teaching with the super reading in the network environment, I analyzed the characteristics of the reading teaching in network environment and its superiority.In the second part, I investigated the related theories that support network reading teaching. Then I put forward the basic theory in network reading teaching on the basis of the construction Theory of Studying, Modern Dissemination Theory and Education Process Optimization Theory, the theories of the information technology and the course integration. In the third part, I analyzed the principle of the Chinese reading teaching and classified the current network teaching ways into three modes and evaluated them. As the network technique has put forward a great challenge to the teacher, I went on analyzing the qualities a teacher should obtain, the role a teacher should play in the new concept teaching. Also I introduced on what respects should a teacher instructs the students in terms of information skills. In the last part, I put forward objectively the existing problems in network teaching and emphasized that we should look on the totally new Chinese reading method from the dialectical viewpoint.
