Research On The Proper Scale Of China's Graduates

China began to enlarge the recruitment of high education scale from 1999; particularly the number of increasing graduate recruitment is most notable. However, the current employment situation of the graduate is not good, because overall it is more and more difficult for them to get a job or get a job which is very good.Many people take the unemployment problem of the graduate problem to the policy of enlarging high education scale, but China's Education Ministry believes that the current problem of undergraduate employment situation has not certain relationship with the high education scale enlargement policy, in order to meet the future development of China's economic, it is necessary to accelerate the education of undergraduate students to meet the urgently needs, the shortage of important industries needs and the important industries demands. However, in order to enhance the quality of the undergraduate education, the government has already made some policies to control the increase speed of the undergraduate student recruitment in the next few years. This means that our government will continue to enlarge the recruitment number of the undergraduate student in the future. While some domestic scholars think that the undergraduate education scale of our country's is "over-education", because the status of the undergraduate student unemployment ratio has already show that there is waste of human resource in China currently.From the overall employment status of the graduates, we can see that there are two problems existed: one is the employment situation of the graduates has become a big problem of China; the other is the continuing enlargement policy of the undergraduate student. This dissertation mainly want to analyze the theories which the enlargement policy of the undergraduate student based on is reasonable or not, to discuss the main factors which influence the demands of the graduate form the angle of the economic growth theories; this dissertation believes that the number of the graduate a country needed is decided by the level of its economic development, other than its percentage of the population or its proportion of the proper population. At the same time, the dissertation believes capital stock and the number of the undergraduate student a country owned has a function relationship. This dissertation takes capital stock numbers and the graduate numbers in USA for a example to analyze the relationship between them and get conclusions. Then taking the capital stock numbers of China to check the number of the graduate that China owned in recent years and get the proper number of the recruitment graduates, it also forecasts the undergraduate student number of China owned and proper number of recruitment graduate in the future.
