A Study On The Conditions, Problems And Solutions To The Development Of Putian Middle Vocational Education

With the Fujian committee and Fujian government's strategies of developing west coast economy district carried out, in 2003, the government of Putian City, which is regarded as one of major parts of "West Coast" economy district, put forwards to the strategies to develop Putian Citiy into Meizhouwan City with "Industries Highly Concentrated, Functions Well Equipped, Environment Ecologically Developed". In 2005,it is demanded to realize "Economy Doubled, Port City Standing Out" by 2010.From then on, Putian City has entered into a new stage of fast developing economy, which not only brings new tasks and requirements to develop and reform the vocational education, but also creates an endless booming development pf vocational education.Based on the developing economy background of Putian middle education, this thesis, at first, briefly introduces the requirements of developing port city at present. Then the author investigated the conditions of developing Putian middle vocational education by interviewing city committee in charge of vocational education. So, the author combines information investigated, exploring all kind of problems in the course of its development. After that, all the records, kept by the author after talking to students and their parents ten years ago, are well presented. Finally, the information are collected and discussed to explore the reasons causing the problems. According to three aspects about policy balanced, strategies set, and new solutions created, the author presents the solutions to developing Putian middle education during the course of developing Putian, the port city so as so serve the policy of "port city standing out"!...
